Frequently Asked Questions
These are some of the most common questions we get asked. Don't see your question here? We'd love to answer it for you. Contact us and we'll answer that and any other questions you may have.
What’s your hourly rate?
Our rates are comparable to other electrical contractors in the Comox Valley.
Why do electricians cost so much?
When you’re having electrical work done, it’s essential to get an expert you can trust. You need to be sure that you work with professionals who can deliver impeccable, knowledgeable service that’s up to code, so we hire people who will act in your best interests (and ours). That’s money well spent and a smart investment.
What sort of warranty/guarantee do you offer?
We 100% warranty all our labour. If there is ever a problem with our work, we will make it right, at no cost to you. All parts and materials that we use are warranted as set out by the supplier.
What sort of permits are required?
In addition to any home building permit you may have, you are required to have a Technical Safety BC permit for any electrical work. This helps protect you and ensure the project is done correctly, which is important for insurance purposes. We will handle this process for you.
Are you licensed and bonded?
Yes. Every electrician we hire is licensed and bonded.
Are you covered by WorkSafe BC?
Yes, we are covered by WorkSafe BC.
Can I supply the material for you to install?
Unfortunately, no. We understand that you’re trying to cut costs, but over time we’ve learned that this is a false economy. If we supply and install it, we guarantee it. If we manage the material, we can be sure everything that has been ordered is correct, and that it’s all ready before we arrive. This helps to avoid costly delays.
